Hard work and determination = results

It's amazing sometimes when you lift your head up after a prolonged period of time with your nose to the grindstone to see your results and you realize the monumental progress that has been made.  Life is one of those things where we absolutely manifest our results.  I heard a quote one time "Success comes to those willing to pay its price." and that is the God to honest truth. Success or results often times are a moving target. If you're not on your game they most certainly will allude you.  You have to be a relentless predator willing to make the sacrifices that will put you in striking distance and of course have the courage to overcome any obstacle that may stand in your path so you can sink your teeth into sweet success.  The predator metaphor is a solid one as a result of our ever changing world. With each new challenge shaping what at times is a completely unfamiliar environment, the importance of being an instinctive, constant pursuer of goals is ever more a necessity.  The strong will survive you can be sure of that.  Each morning we all awake with the ability to shape our day in many ways.  We have the freewill to decide if we will invest the energy to facilitate progress toward a better life or watch the hours pass in the absence of productivity.  What decides our direction is the importance we place on change.  How important is it to us that we give life everything we have to bring about a better life? Are we willing to do everything within our power to manifest the life we see when we close our eyes and dream? Today feel the urgency. Feel the importance of living to your potential and letting nothing stand between you and a life of complete abundance. You can feel it can't you?... now step out there taking the action that will get you closer. Embrace that hunger in your belly, that hunger in your spirit that will consume any adversary on your journey to EPIC success! God Bless and Godspeed!

Whatup new year! It's good to see u!

The last few months have been electric! It's amazing what can happen when you're willing to weather any size storm to get to your goal.  Our objective here has always been achieving EPIC success in everything we do.  Whether that be a child building confidence, a soccer-mom getting her groove back or elite level athletes smashing their way to the top, we seek results on the most fruitful of levels. That culture has drawn into our team individuals that exemplify the pinnacle of success. Characters that produce it in every aspect of their lives and inspire those in their presence to do the same.  These leaders, our team, broadcast an energy, a sincere interest in those effected by their guidance that absolutely breeds positive productivity.  As we conclude this year and open up the next I can tell you if my confidence was any higher I'd probably light on fire! Our leaders, our athletes, the facility, most importantly our relentless, hardworking, hungry, positive culture is going to manifest experiences in 2012 that will blow minds! Get prepared cause it's going down! 2012 is ours!

All the pieces are in place.

Man it's been a minute since I've updated this... so much has happened.  Heard a great quote one day that sums up the experience of these last three months "Those who succeed have learned how to build castles with the bricks others have thrown at them."  I couldn't have imagined a year ago the experiences that have followed but now that the smoke is cleared I couldn't be more excited about the future.  Our team of instructors I believe is the best in the mma world no joke and I absolutely expect our team to rise to the top and remain there for a very long period of time.  Our crew now is either highly educated or exceptionally accomplished and most are both.  In addition to that the most important element is that each understands the concept of synergy knowing that by working with our teammates we as individuals become better.  The icing on the cake is that each has an exceptional ability to teach and instruct.  Our leadership team is there, the competitive team has never had so much promise and the facility is rounding third base and will soon be the nicest in the state without question.  We're one way flight to the top. Stay tuned.

Never been so excited!

Dang it's been a crazy few weeks!  Been out of the ordinary for sure but made way for some huge and welcomed changes.  This last year has no doubt been unpredictable! Had some big ups and some unanticipated lows... sometimes the quality of life comes down to ones ability to weather storms and bounce back.  Sometimes you gotta have the discipline even if uncomfortable to put the trash on the curb and make room for new possibilities.  You do this and although you may let go of some comfort and feel some uncertainty  it is an absolute necessity if you intend to grow without burden.  We gotta decide what we want and pursue it relentlessly. Nose to the grindstone!

A new wind!

Sometimes things happen so slowly issues slip through our awareness.  In the the hustle and bustle small things pass through our radar displaying relatively low risk or are undetected entirely.  We get distracted with what appears to be the most important issue of today until those small things have added up into something substantial and force our focus to be placed upon them.  When change arrives, opportunity has too.  Change offers us the ability to decide the direction of our future.  We can decide our circle of influence. We can re-evaluate our purpose and adjust accordingly to ensure we are on track to meet our objectives.  Change offers the purest form of opportunity.  We can design from the ground up on a clean slate and with discipline bring about whatever it is that we seek.

The power of synergy.

Just like anything the success of a team or a gym is the result of the right people.  People that really do care about building up the crew and understand that you remove your limitations when you help others remove theirs.  Great things take time. They take patience.  If you seek greatness you must be prepared to face adversity and willing to overcome it.  You have to put forth good judgement knowing when adjustments need to be made and have the fortitude to standby those decisions.  There is no shortage of people selfishly navigating the waters of life. You must believe in your dreams and relentlessly pursue them in a way that lift others closer to theirs and in turn amplify the outcome of  your own.  If you do this your challenges will become boosters bringing you to your destination faster than you could have ever imagined.  Believe and achieve.

Only the strong.

The wave of excitement that carried us through the weekend has passed laying us back in the gym focused on the road ahead.  Although September isn't carrying the volume of fights we've seen in August the magnitude of each is significant.  Got some top pros going out to represent.  Some carrying HUGE momentum looking for that big show shot and others trying to overcome recent losses.  The MMA game requires stamina and perseverance.  Challenges are going to present themselves.  What differentiates the good from the great is ones ability to overlook distraction, benefit from adversity and develop a hunger to succeed that will consume anything in it's path. Only the strong survive.
