The craziest things that have happened as of late include some insane coaching additions. 5 weeks ago Professor Marcelo Motta blessed Altitude MMA with his contributions on the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu side and Muay Thai Khru Pat Cross has added an unreal flavor to our striking.
Marcelo is an absolute monster having nothing but the highest levels of success in his wake. He represented the Brazilian Nation Jiu Jitsu team before being recruited by the United Arab Emerites where he and partner Carlos Santos grew jiu jitsu into the National Sport. Marcelo's wisdom and and understanding of jiu jitsu is truly unique but his spirit and approach to teaching is what gives those under his guidance the most significant advantage. An absolute jiu jitsu genius but more than that he's an incredible person that positively impacts everyone so fortunate to connect with him.
Pat is a striking coach like nothing I've ever seen. His understanding of the discipline and ability to articulate it to those under his influence is difficult to describe. His commitment to the sport, high energy approach and thorough teaching methodology is why he is frequently named as one of the premier striking coaches in this region.
Man I don't even know what to say other than I couldn't be more motivated! Credentials, facility and what not is one thing... but when you're surrounded with great people a whole new realm of possibilities opens up and I am straight electrified with excitement as we enter it! Stay tuned!
